Corey Baron is a poet and photographer from New Rochelle, New York. He attained his bachelors from New York University where he studied Media, Culture, and Communication with a focus on visual cultures, along with creative writing.

He is the winner of the Epiphany Breakout! Writing Prize in Poetry and the recipient of the Judith Lobel Arkin Prize from the Academy of American Poets.

Corey lives in Harlem, where he teaches system-impacted youth at Youth Justice Network. He is also the lead photography instructor for the Lens on Life Project.
